Hope this helps I also found this nasty glitch but luckily for me my Dell Latitude D had a wireless driver that was compatible so I did like you said and sure enough that driver did the trick now I am back on Ethernet.

Well folks, Thanks to a helpful person on this Forum who sent me a link to the version 14 x64 driver I was all set to bitt a second time to upgrade to Win Upgraded to Win 10 a second time. You will find this driver from windows driver list.

I went to Dell website and downloaded driver R for my specific Service Tag.
